ABOUT ME
Hey there!
I was born in Kenya, to Indian parents, my husband is from England, and my kids were born in America. Being surrounded by so much diversity, I’ve always had a genuine passion for inclusion, empathy, and equity within our community.
With 10+ years of design experience ranging from conceptualizing to illustrating to print to digital to marketing, my work has always been inclusive and user-centered, whether it’s retail packaging, advertising and marketing collateral, digital assets, or literature.
My UI/UX skills allow me to provide an effortless yet enjoyable experience for friends and family in our community by simplifying complicated, unnecessary design elements, and by testing the effectiveness of our designs during all phases of the product development life cycle, thus capturing the essence of a successful, meaningful solution, in a fun and beautiful way.

FUN
While I truly enjoy what I do for work, I love taking time off to engage in other experiences that cultivate and enlighten me. I love to paint, whether it’s a canvas or a mural, it transports me to a place of fantasy and serenity. Being a mom to 2 kids, a puppy, and a turtle doesn’t leave much quiet time to paint these days, so I now embrace other hobbies like traveling, hiking, and gardening, that we can all enjoy as a family.
I am a passionate world traveler who is fortunate enough to share my inspirational adventures with my beautiful children. While my favorite place so far is Rome thanks to their kind and generous hospitality, and their delicious pizza and gelato, my kids’ favorite place is Cabo, mostly because they discovered sea glass there and experienced non-alcoholic piña coladas for the first time.
Here's a fun fact, I am terrified of bugs. So gardening is an excellent way for me to face my fear, relieve stress, and expose my kids to nature, sunlight, and some physical activity. Last year, as they nurtured their garden and watched it thrive, they felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. Let’s see what this year brings!
